Sat. Mar. 23, 2013: Four Seasons of Gardening Conference
8:30 PM to 3:30 PM at C-TEC Career & Technology Education Center, 150 Price Rd, Newark OH, sponsored by Licking County Master Gardener Volunteers and Licking Co. OSU Extension. We will be doing mushroom log inoculation demos and selling inoculated logs at the Blue Owl Hollow table; our regular dried culinary herb products, as well as the very first of spring fresh herbs will be available for sale at the adjacent Blue Owl Garden Emporium table.
Sundays and Wednesdays in April: Mushroom inoculation workshare
Sundays 12-5 PM, Wednesdays 10 AM-5 PM. Come on out to the Blue Owl Hollow tree farm and earn yourself an inoculated mushroom log! Gain direct hands-on experience with various aspects of culinary mushroom production by assisting us with our seasonal propagation chores. You inoculate 10 logs for us and the 11th is yours to take home for free. Email or call to sign up for a time slot.
